Introduction
Anne Wheathill was author of a series of 49 prayers, arranged in seven groups of seven prayers each representing the seven days of creation, published as A Handfull of Holesome (though Homelie) Hearbs, Gathered out of the Goodlie Garden of Gods most Holie Word (London, 1584). No manuscript by her is known.
